How do I Cancel an Item Purchased on Furnitech?

Cancellation in Case of Damage:

If you receive a damaged or defective product, please:

  1. Immediately notify the delivery personnel at the time of delivery.
  2. Raise a complaint by submitting a ticket at our Help Center.

Your damage or defect claim will be assessed within 72 hours, and a solution will be provided. Depending on the assessment, Furnitech may offer a return, replacement, or another appropriate corrective measure.

Cancellation in Case of Wrong Product:

If the product you received does not comply with the specifications of your original order, please:

  1. Report the issue immediately by raising a ticket at our Help Center.

Cancellation in Case of Change in Requirement/Mind:

Once an order is placed, it cannot be canceled. However, in special cases, you may contact us within 24 hours through our Contact Us page for assistance, provided the product has not been shipped or is in the production or pre-production stage. After the 24-hour window, cancellations will not be entertained.

Important Notes:

  • All damage or defect concerns must be addressed within 72 hours of delivery. Queries submitted after this period will not be entertained.
  • For fragile products, customers are requested to share an unboxing video in case of damage or defect.

Return & Refund:

If you are eligible for a refund, it will be processed as per the following guidelines:

  1. Return Pickup: All refunds and replacement processes are subject to the pickup of all cancelled items from your premises.
  2. Processing Time: After receiving the returned products at our warehouse, a refund will be initiated within 2-3 days.
  3. Refund Method: Refunds will be credited via NEFT.
  4. Processing Charges: Depending on the order, processing charges might be deducted.

Warranties:

Our products come with a 36-month warranty period, covering manufacturing and workmanship defects that occur under normal household conditions.

Warranty Details:

  • Effective Date: This warranty applies to products purchased after 31st August 2024.
  • Exclusions: The warranty does not cover:
    • Normal wear and tear over prolonged use.
    • Small cuts, scratches, or damages due to improper cleaning methods or impacts/accidents.
    • Damage caused by incorrect installation or assembly by the customer.
    • Products stored, assembled, or installed incorrectly, used inappropriately, or cleaned using improper methods or products (e.g., upholstery exposed to direct sunlight may fade).
    • Cracks due to product displacement.
    • Wood decaying from consistent water exposure.
    • Seasonal climate variations affecting solid wood (contraction and expansion) are not covered.
    • Natural characteristics of wood such as joint lines and wood grains are not considered defects.
    • Upholstery fabrics like seat covers have no warranty. For upholstery products, the warranty applies only to the frame and mechanisms.
    • Non-standard dry-cleaning procedures or the use of harsh chemicals.
    • Variations up to 2 inches in furniture dimensions and 5mm unevenness due to floor or surface levels are acceptable and not covered under warranty.
    • Warranty is void if the product is relocated from its original delivery location.
    • Warranty is nullified if installation, assembly, or repair is carried out by unauthorised third parties. Only approved Furnitech professionals can perform these services to maintain warranty coverage.

Delivery:

Our support and delivery team will coordinate with you for a hassle-free installation process.

  • Free Delivery: Applicable only on specific pincodes.
  • Missed Deliveries: Additional charges apply for subsequent delivery attempts or specific time deliveries.
  • Delivery Constraints: Our delivery partners will deliver products to the ground floor in the absence of a service lift in your apartment (if applicable).
  • Product Holding: Once the order reaches your nearest delivery center, if you fail to receive the products, we will hold them for 10 days. After this period, Furnitech reserves the right to charge for extended holding.
